Perfect Penguins- Autumn 2 Week 5

This has been a really busy week in Penguins Class! Penguins have been worked really hard using all their skills in Maths and Reading to complete assessments. Later on in the week, we have been practicing the 7 times table in Maths and we starting to read the book ‘The Sea of Tranquillity’ in English.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic, Penguins have started the Art mini project ‘Tints, Tones and Shades’, where we learned that a tint is where you add white to a colour, a shade is where you add black and a tone is where you add grey. Penguins enjoyed mixing colours and looking at tints, tones and shades in famous artwork.

On Thursday, Penguins Class had the amazing opportunity to show all the work they have done in Year 5 so far to their grownups! Thank you to everyone who came a long to see what Year 5 had been up to.
