Sharks Autumn 1 Week 6
Date: 18th Oct 2024 @ 4:20pm
We have had another very busy in the Sharks class!
In maths, we have worked hard to master multiplication and division using a pictorial method. We understand how to draw equal groups to help us calculate the answer. We have even started to use our skills to solve different problems.
In English, we have been busy drafting our information books reading for Maria Isabel Sanchez. Some children have written information about Neil Armstrong and some have written about Florence Nightingale. We have constructed our sentences using facts from our reading and research.
In topic we enjoyed learning about current significant people. We learnt that Greta Thunberg is an activist trying to stop global warming and Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. We all shared our opinions on who we thought was the most significant individual and gave reasons for this.
We had a super music lesson on Friday afternoon. Aston really impressed us with his determination to play the correct notes on the glockenspiel and keep the melody. Well done!
