Sharks, Autumn 2, Week 5
Date: 9th Dec 2024 @ 8:21am
In English this week we have continued our work on David Attenborough and finding out lots of information on the fantastic work he has done. This will help us to write our own persuasive letters next week.
In Maths, we have been looking at measures. We have learnt about weight, capacity and volume. We also learnt how to measure using a ruler and had the opportunity to measure lots of things around the classroom.
For our Geography topic,"Let's explore the world" we have learnt how to read maps and locate countries and continenets around the world. We have also looked at compass points and how to use a key to find landmarks around Whitby.
We have also been busy practising our Nativity and can't wait to perform to you all! The children have been working hard learning their lines and all the songs! Please keep this up!
