Sharks Spring 1 Week 2

We have had another very busy week with the Super Sharks!

In maths, we have been learning how to solve missing number problems using the inverse opperation. Emelia really impressed us with her application of addition skills to solve a range of problems. Well done! We have also solved problems with multiple steps such as 15 + 6 = ___ + 9. We learnt the that equals sign means 'the same as'.

In English, we have learnt lots of skills that will help us with our story writing next week. We have practiced using expanded noun phrases and time adverbials to add detail to our sentences.

In music, we have had a great time learning the Grandma Rap! We begun exploring written music and know that a crochet is one beat.
