Wow what a busy first week back the Clever Koalas have had!

In Maths the children have been learning about negative numbers, ordering numbers and rounding numbers.  They have done amazingly well with all of these skills - well done everyone!

In English, we have been preparing to write a diary entry.  As part of our reading lessons we have been reading the book "Farm Boy" by Michael Morpurgo, from this the children are going to write a diary entry as the boy in the book - Mrs Sanderson is then going send the written pieces to Michael Morpurgo for him to read!!  How exciting!!

As part of our science lessons this week we have been learning about food chains and life cycles.  The children have enjoyed looking at different animal life cycles and researching these.

Star writer this week is Zikora - he wrote a great diary entry about his holidays.
