In maths this week the children have been using adding and subtracting skills to help solve problems.

English

This week the children have been reading the book "Farm Boy" by Michael Morpurgo.  

Perfect Penguins  have been learning about how to write a diary entry. They have used passive voice, semi-colons and metaphors to help them to write it. Their diary entry will be from the point of view of the boy in the book. 

Our topic lessons this week have started to focus on life cycles and plants. The children particularly enjoyed dissecting flowers.
