Spring 1 Week 3

Butterflies have had a fantastic week learning all about Winter.

In Literacy, we read the story 'Kipper's Snowy Day' We followed this with a quiz to check our understanding of the story. Lily was fab at answering these questions! 

In Maths, we have been learning about 3D shapes. The children became magicians and turned 2D shapes into 3D shapes! The children were amazed with their magic skills!

We looked around our environment to spot different objects that are 3D shapes. Melissa noticed that a dice was a shape of a cube and a ball is a sphere - Well done Melissa! 

To finish off our Winter week, Butterflies have enjoyed creating their own snowflakes and decorating them with glitter!
