Spring 1 Week 3

We have had another fun filled week in the Starfish class. 

In maths, we focused on picking the appropriate method to help work out our worded problems. Joseph and Jenson have worked exceptionally hard this week finding quicker ways to help them find the answer. 

In English, we have written our own stories based on Sally and the Limpet. We thought carefully about our ideas and used our plans to help us write an amazing story. 

In topic this week, we have started to learn about Whitby, which is a costal town in North Yorkshire. We learnt lots of interesting facts which Evie was amazed to learn there are 199 steps all the way up to the Abbey. Additionally, Whitby has an RNLI station that is used to help people when they're in trouble at sea.
