Spring 1 Week 3

Maths
In Maths lessons this week, Bees class have been practicing using the column method for multiplying numbers. Later on this week, we looked at multiplying 3 numbers together and even finding the factors of different numbers.

English
In English this week, we continued looking at non-chronological reports. We have been very busy putting all our learning from the last two weeks together, as we have begun writing our non-chronological reports all about rivers! Bees class are excited about publishing these next week.

Other Subjects
In Topic this week we have started learning about mountains. On Monday, we drew a diagram of a mountain and wrote about the different part of a mountain, including peak and base. Later on this week we have been looking at different famous mountains and the names given to different types of mountains.

Star of the Week
Our Star of the Week this week is… Julia! For helping everyone to learn Polish in a whole-school assembly! You were brilliant Julia, thank you for teaching us!

Star Writer
Our Star Writer of the week this week is… Byron! For always using his neatest handwriting, in every lesson.
