Maths
This week in Maths, we have been focussing on multiplication. At the start of the week, the children were learning how to multiply a number by 10. We then moved on to grid multiplication, where the children solved multiplication questions using the multiplication grids.

English
In English this week, the children have been writing their narratives based on Mary Anning. They have started their narratives by writing a setting description of Lyme Regis and introduced their character ‘Mary.’ They have then gone on to write their story about Mary finding a huge dinosaur fossil, hidden in the cliffs.

Topic

In Topic lessons this week, the children have been learning more about volcanoes. We have been researching, labelling features, and creating a database around facts about different volcanoes.
