Spring 1, Week 4

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

In Maths, we learnt to divide by sharing. We carefully read the division sentence to identify how many sharing circles we needed to draw. Then, we shared out the amount, making sure it was shared equally. Jenson and Thora did a super job!

In English, we had a visit from Teddy who needs our help writing instructions for his trip to London. We began by practising writing instructions for our end of the day routine at school. Morgan and Aston wrote wonderful instructions! Then, we worked in teams to research London landmarks for Teddy to visit.

In Computing, we started our ‘Maze Explorers’ unit. We used Purple Mash games to program characters to move around maps. We had to think carefully about the direction they needed to go and the number of steps they needed to make.
