Maths

This week, the children have been practicing using short division (bus stop) to divide two and three digit numbers by a single digit. This has included solving calculations which involve remainders. All of the children have worked really hard on this.    

English

During this week, the children finished publishing their non-chronological reports. After this, they started learning all about adventure stories. The children were very excited to find out that the adventure stories they will write will go on display in the library, so other children can read them.  

Other Areas

This week, in Topic they have continued learning about mountains. On Tuesday, they had a visit from a mountain climbing expert… Mrs Holt! The children enjoyed asking Mrs Holt questions and learning all about her mountain climbing adventures.

Star of the Week

Well done to Lily for achieving Star of the Week. She always has an excellent attitude towards her learning and tries her very best in every lesson. 

Star Writer

Well done to Aurora for achieving Star Writer. She has worked hard on adding detail to her writing.
