Maths
This week in Maths, the children have been focussing on division. We have been learning all about ‘short division, otherwise known as the bus stop method. The children have all worked super hard on this new skill!

English
In English this week, we have started our new unit of English. We are going to be writing a news paper report. The children have started to look at different newspaper reports and the features within each report.

Topic

In Topic lessons this week, the children have been researching well-known volcanoes. In the next lesson, the children used clay to make models of their volcanoes and displayed them with the information that they have researched.

Star of the week - Aleksandra (Aleksandra has been trying her best to complete every task to her best ability!)

Writer of the week - Sharvil (Sharvil has written a brilliant story about Mary Anning in our English lessons)
