Spring 1 Week 5

Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...

In maths, we have been looking at time, specifically o’clock. We have enjoyed using our own clocks to make the times and have learnt where the long and short hands should be to tell the time. We have been practising drawing the hands on the clock too. Well done to IvyRose for her superb work in telling the time!

This week we have had internet safety day and we looked at how to keep ourselves safe online and we discussed who we would go to if we were worried about something we had seen online. We completed work to show what we had learnt about keeping ourselves safe online such as, not sharing personal information like passwords. We also then created our own emoji pictures. Well done Ruby-Mai for a lovely unicorn emoji!

In PSHE, as it has been mental health week, we have discussed what mental health is and looked at how important it is for our voice to be heard. We have discussed what makes us excited but also what makes us sad. We have discussed our thoughts and feelings and who we can go to when we may be feeling sad.

Well done to our 'Star of the Week' which is Tyler. Tyler has been working hard in his maths and has completed his maths work independently! He has also been working really hard in telling the time. Well done!

Our star writer this week is Kalina, who has been working hard in her English lessons. She has produced some excellent written work. well done!
