Maths
This week in Maths, the children have been learning about money. The children have been recognising, comparing, adding and subtracting money. We have worked hard on recognising and remembering the different values for coins and notes to be able to solve calculations.

English
In English this week, we have been looking at features of newspaper reports. Focussing on perfect present tense, speech and sentence openers. The children have also been writing sentences about the volcanic eruption that happened in Pompeii, which links to our topic learning this week.

Writer of the week – Emelia (Emelia has been working super hard on her handwriting and presentation!)
