Spring 1 Week 6

Maths
In Maths lessons this week, Bees class have looking at how to solve word problems involving fractions of amounts. Later on this week, we looked at understanding and writing decimals numbers.

English
In English this week, we finished writing adventure stories. We planned each paragraph as we wrote it, and at the end of the week we published these into little books. Bees even made their own front covers for them.

Other Subjects
In Topic this week we finished our water cycle experiment. Bees class were very surprised to find that when we lifted the cling film off the bowl and peered into the glass, it had water inside it! We concluded that the water had evaporated into water vapour, condensed on the cling film and then precipitated into the glass, just like in the water cycle.

Our Star of the Week this week is Caleb! For super knowledge and enthusiasm in our mountains topic.
