Spring 2 Week 1

The Butterflies have had a very busy first week back! 

We are really excited with our new topic 'Dangerous Dinosaurs'  We watched an episode of 'Andy's Dinosaur Adventures' about the fierce T-Rex. We then discovered a letter had been delivered. It was from a T-Rex asking us to design a holiday island for the dinoasurs. We worked well in groups to design an island where the dinoasurs could relax. Arden included some great detail in his drawings. The lava running down from the valcono looked fab! 

In maths we have been learning how to match a quantity of objects to the correct number. The children liked to challenge themselves by working with numbers up to 20! Gracie-Mae was very confident with this - Well done :) 

In literacy, we have read the story 'Harry and his Bucket Full of Dinosaurs' We wrote our own letter to the lost property office to ask if they have found our bucket of toys. Loki worked so hard with this and used his phonics to write independently - Well done Loki :)
