Spring 2, Week 1

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

In English, we saw a burning building from the Great Fire of London! We wrote about what we saw, describing the building and the fire. Ava wrote some lovely sentences. Then, we learnt about Samuel Pepys, who wrote in his diary during the Great Fire of London. Did you know he buried cheese in his garden during the fire?

In Science, we have started our ‘Seasonal Changes’ mini project. We recapped the 4 seasons and learnt about two types of trees: deciduous trees and evergreen trees. Thora and Harley did a great job remembering the differences between the two tree types.

In PE, we enjoyed practising rolling and receiving a ball. We took it in turns to roll the ball to our team. When we received the ball, we had to run to the next cone and back. We had lots of fun and everyone did a super job.
