Spring 2 Week 2

In Maths this week, the children have been learning about data. We have interpreted the different types of charts including pictograms, bar charts and line graphs.  We have then looked more closely at lines graphs. We have been completing reasoning and problem-solving questions alongside this. On Friday we have been practising our Times Tables  

During English this week, the children continued looking at explanation texts. We have been looking at the features that we need to include in the reports such as subordinating and conjunctions and clauses. The children have started to plan their explanation text on Solid, Liquids and Gases. 

In Topic this week, the children completed their mini topic on Grouping and Classifying. We found out what classifying means, how we can classify things using single and double stage questions. We used these to classify people and living things.
