Spring 2 Week 3

Wow, what another busy week in the Sharks classroom!

In English, we have been extremely busy writing and publishing our non-chronological reports about Coastlines. Dilon has demonstrated amazing progress in his handwriting, well done Dilon! Emils also showed great perseverance to ensure his writing was the best it could be- super!

In maths, we have continued to practice using methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ike, Faith and Riley all did an amazing job demonstrating how to solve different calculations to the rest of the class. They were able to explain their answers using a pictorial method. Well done!

We have been artists in topic this week. We have learnt about an artist called Yayoi Kusama who is famous for her large, vibrant sculptures. We have made our own flower sculptures using very bright colours and bold patterns in a similar style to Yayoi.
