Maths
This week in Maths, we have been working on multiplication and division. We have been building up our skills from last half-term. The children have been multiplying two-digit numbers by one-digit numbers, using the formal written method. We then looked at dividing using the bus stop method. The children have worked very hard on this!

English
In English this week, we have been writing our narratives, about the disaster in Pompeii. The children have focused on including lots of descriptive language within their stories, to be able to ‘set the scene’ and expand the readers imagination.

Star of the week

Ella-Mae – Ella has been working super hard on her reading recently and has made a huge improvement on her weekly AR tests.

Writer of the week

Noah – Noah has been trying super hard with his handwriting this week!
