English

This week in English, T-Rex class have been working on writing descriptions of the different seasons. We’ve been using lots of adjectives to make our writing more exciting and connectives to link our ideas together. The children have been comparing the weather in each season, talking about what they can see, hear, and feel during each time of the year. Noah did an excellent job recording some fantastic sentences and was really proud of the work he accomplished. It’s wonderful to see the children growing in confidence with their writing!

Maths

In Maths we’ve been learning to record measurements of length and height. The children have been using rulers with increasing accuracy, paying close attention to the measurements they are taking. It’s been great to see them improving their skills and learning how to measure carefully.

Topic

As part of our “Rain and Sunrays” mini project, we’ve begun exploring texture, form, and line. The children have been experimenting with different techniques to create interesting textures and forms in their artwork, and they’re excited to continue developing their skills.
