Spring 2 week 4

This week we have continued with the story "We're Going on a Bear Hunt". We took the children on a walk around the school to look for Bears,fortunately we didn't find any. The children really enjoyed it but felt a little nervous at the same time.

We have been using the bear counters again to link numerals to amounts for example, showing the right number of objects to match the numeral up to 5.

We have also been looking at objects that float and objects that sink and discussing the reasons why. They also had a try at predicting the outcome.

In the creative area the children have been painting the different characters from the story. I think we definitely have some potential artists in the Nursery.
