Spring 2 Week 4

This week we have been completing our activity booklets. We have all improved on our arithmetic skills, which has made Miss Eaton happy.

In English, we have started our new piece of writing. We will be writing descriptions about an island. We have been using adjectives and verbs in sentences to use in our final pieces. Jeremy and Ivana have written some beautiful sentences.

In topic this week, we have started our new mini project called ‘Uses of Materials’. We experimented with different materials, seeing how they would change shape when they are squashed, bent, stretched, and twisted. We also carried out an investigation, testing different paper types for their strength, texture and absorbency.
