Spring 2 Week 4

Maths 
In Maths this week, the children have been completing their Arithmetic and Reasoning assessments. We have also been learning how to do long multiplication. 

English 
In English this week, we have also been doing our assessments. As well as this we learnt all about poems. The children have created their own kennings and enjoyed trying to figure out what each others were about. 

Other Subjects 
Our Topic mini project this week is ‘Functional and Fancy Fabrics’ so we have been designing and making William Morris inspired fabric using motifs and block printing. We had a fun time working in teams to build dens during Forest School on Monday.

Star of the Week 

Well done to Billy who showed great leadership skills during Forest School this week. 

Star Writer 

Well done to Poppy for achieving Star Writer. She has worked really hard publishing her explanation text.
