Spring 2 - Week 6
Date: 4th Apr 2025 @ 8:30am
In English this week, the children have been busy writing an acrostic poem about Spring. They thought creatively about using alliteration, similes and exciting adjective and verb choices. They then published their lovely work.
In Maths, the children have been interpreting data. They have practised answering questions about tally charts, pictograms and bar charts. They practised answering questions like ‘How many more boys chose chocolate ice cream than girls?’ and ‘How many boys and girls have a dog?’.
Please support your child to complete their creative topic over the holidays. This is their home learning. Please read the homework pack which explains the task. Please bring the creative tasks to school before Thursday 24th April as we would like to display them in the classroom.
Please continue to read a variety of books over the holidays and practise your times tables as these skills are so important.
Thanks for your continued support,
Have a lovely Easter break.
