Starfish Autumn 1, Week 7
Date: 24th Oct 2024 @ 8:24am
This week in Maths, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We have identified their properties and practiced spelling the names of the shapes correctly. We also investigated with 3D shapes roll, stack or do both. Henry was able to successfully identify how many vertices a square has.
In English, we wrote our story up in neat. Ensuring that our letters were formed correctly and that we started our sentences with Capital letters. We have also created a front cover for our book.
In topic this week, we have been learning about memorials that are made for significant person. We then designed our own post stamp to commemorate a significant person.
Well done for all your hard work these past weeks Starfish, have a nice break!
