Starfish Autumn 2, Week 3

This week in Maths, we have been learning how to multiply and divide using grouping. We have started to extend our learning by answering reasoning questions about multiplication and division, explaining how we found our answers. We also used our times table knowledge to help us find the answers to our questions.

In English, we have been writing our own versions of the ‘Magic Porridge pot’. Cohen worked hard to use exciting adjectives to describe what the cauldron looked like. Joel and Aurora have used a wide range of sentence openers in their writing.

In Topic, we continued our mini project ‘Mix it’. We made clay stamps and then used the primary and secondary colours to make patterns. Harley found out how to make green by overlapping 2 colours.
