Starfish Autumn 2, Week 5

This week in Maths, we have been learning how to measure. We learnt how to use a ruler, we learnt that we have to start at 0 and measure carefully. We also learnt about capacity and volume. The capacity is how much a container can hold, the volume is how much is actually in the container.

In Topic, we started our mini project called ‘Let's exolore the world’. On Wednesday, we learnt how to read a map and find the different compass points. We then used a key to help us find different landmarks in Whitby. 

This week, we have been practising for the Christmas play. Well done for leanring the songs and lines so well... remember keep learning them at home!
