Starfish Spring 1, Week 3

Date: 23rd Jan 2025 @ 3:54pm

In Maths, we have been learning how to answer worded problems. The questions were linked to the four operations, we have to use the methods we have learnt to help us solve the problems. Ivy-Rose and Jacob have tried really hard to answer tricky worded problems.

In English, we have been drafting our own stories based on the story 'Sally and the Limpet'. Mason has swapped his limpet to seaweed and Henry has a sea urchin stuck on his characters finger.

In Forest School, we have been on a bug and bird hunt. We used bug catchers to help us safely find bugs and look at them. Isabelle found a baby worm and Elsie was really brave holding a baby woodlouse. Harrison and Louie used binoculars to looked for birds in the trees. We were excited to find a blackbird!

Well done Super Starfish, for working so hard in your class assembly.
