Starfish Spring 1, Week 6

In Maths, we have been exploring 2D and 3D shapes. We had the opportunity to go on a shape hunt, this was so much fun! We found everyday objects about the classroom that were either 2D or 3D shapes. Louie recognised that the clock had a face like a circle.   

In English, we wrote out letters to the Mayor Whitby about plastic pollution. Henry and Thomas took their time and tried hard with their handwriting. Joel drew a lovely picture of a turtle to send to the Mayor.

In Forest School, we made hot chocolate! We learnt how to start a fire and heated the milk in a pan when the fire was hot enough. We also got to enjoy a yummy biscuit to dip into our hot chocolate.
