Starfish Spring 2, Week 5

This week in Maths, we have been looking at time. We have been looking at how to read clocks, showing O'Clock and half past. Later on in the week. we started to look at quarter past and quarter to. This was a bit trickier but we tried our best! Abbie worked really hard to read the clocks and make the times shown. 

In English, we started our new unit of work. We will be writing island descriptions. We looked how to use exciting noun phrases and verbs. We also watched a video of different islands and with our partners described what we saw. 

In Topic, we continued our Art project called 'Flower Head'. We explored different textures using PVA glue and tissue paper. As well as making different textures on clay.
