Summer 1 Week 2

This week in Maths, we continued to answer reasoning questions. We have been answering tricky 2 step problems. Amelia has worked independently to solve calculations and check her answers thoroughly.  

In English, we have been learning how to use past tense verbs. We put these into sentences about our Monarch Day and added adjectives to improve our sentences. Well done to Evie who has improved on her handwriting this week and pushed herself to use time adverbials in her writing.

In topic this week, we have been learning about Alfred the Great. Did you know, he fought for the right for everyone to have access to literacy.
