Maths
In Maths lessons this week, Bees Class have been recapping a variety of mathematical skills. On Monday and Tuesday, we explored how to check calculations by using the inverse. Later in the week, we revised long multiplication and short division.

English
In English this week, Bees Class have been practicing using the features we need to use when we are writing our non-chronological reports for Horrible Histories. We have written a variety of sentences using fronted adverbials, conjunctions and a variety of punctuation. Later in the week we started planning our non-chronological reports.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic we have been exploring more about daily life in Ancient Sumer. First we learned all about Sumerians ways of farming and how their inventions helped them on their farms. Then, we learned all about Sumerian city states and imagined what we could see, hear, taste, touch and smell if we walked around an Ancient Sumerian city.

Our Star Writer of the week this week is Logan! For super handwriting in your English lessons. 

Our Star of the Week is Taylor! For super effort in your swimming lessons.
