Maths

In Maths this week, the year 6 children have been applying their mathematical knowledge to answer fraction questions (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing). They are working super hard in preparation for their SATs.

English

In English this week, the children have been writing a setting description and an alternative ending for the story ‘Rose Blanche’, using their knowledge of the text and World War 2 from our Topic lessons.  

Star writer- Tyler. Tyler has worked really hard this week by including Year 5/6 spelling words in his writing.

Star of week – Rylan. Rylan has had a much more positive attitude towards his learning since returning from the holidays!
