Summer 1 week 3

This week we have been looking at the book " Shark in the Park" The children have enjoyed looking through the telescope and using the repeated refrain "there's a shark in the park".

In Maths we have been recapping the properties of 2D shapes,how many corners?,how many sides?.

We have been doing lots of lovely colouring and collaging in the creative area.

In phonics we have introduced the children to S A T P I N letter sounds. Following on from this some of the children went into the writing area and independently wrote down the sounds and told us what they had written. We are so proud of them.

The caterpillars are now chrysalises so the children are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the butterflies.

We have had another great week.Well done.
