Summer 1, Week 3

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

In English, we have published our final writes about our imaginary plants. We thought carefully about exciting describing words and used ‘and’ to stretch our sentences. We also made sure we used our best handwriting, practising the pre-cursive font. I was really impressed by Aston's handwriting! 

In PE, we enjoyed our dance session. We started with a warmup of musical statues, then we used hoops to create different dances. We followed a tutorial, copying the 8 beat hoop dance before working in pairs to create our own. Alisa, Pola and Faris did an excellent job staying in time to the beat.

In Topic, we have started our ‘School Days’ main project, where we will be learning about life in the Victorian times. On Monday, we began to use phrases to talk about the past e.g., ‘a long time ago…’ and ‘last year…’. Then, we created a class timeline, adding key events from the last few years.

Well done Cole for Star of the Week! You are completing super work in Maths and showing great independence.  

Well done Alexander for Star Writer! Your plant instructions were fantastic and your handwriting was lovely.
