Summer 1 - Week 3

A lovely week, which started with the sun shining!!

Congratulations to Disha for achieving Star of the Week this week, she achieved this due to her excellent effort in all areas and using a range of vocabulary in her Roman diary.

Another congratulations goes to Afolarin for getting Star Writer!

The Dolphins have had a great week this week, we have continued with our work on fractions in maths, they have been adding and subtracting fractions which they are getting very confident at! REMEMBER - add/subtract the numerator and keep the denominator the same! 

In Topic our learning has been based around the Romans tried to conquer Scotland! We have learnt about Boudicca, The Picts and Hadrian's Wall. The Dolphins have loved watching a Horrible Histories song all about Boudicca, follow the link to enjoy this song together! In PSHE we looked at marriage across a range of religions and what is important in all of them! The children came up with some excellent answers for what you might see/hear/smell/taste at all marriage ceremonies.
