Summer 1 week 3

Hello all,

This week in class we have been focused on the heroine of the Iceni Tribe, Boudicca. We thought like Romans and created wanted posters for her capture. The children were then inspired to write a diary in English, about three days in the life of either a Roman Emperor or as Boudicca. Have a read of some of our fanastic writing. In maths, we continued our learning about fractions. We learnt to add and take away fractions, we are great at this. In music, we learnt some rhythm patterns and used just 3 notes to make tunes and accompaniments. Forest School was really exciting this week too as we built our own bug houses. It was fun collecting sticks and cut grass to make the structures.
