Cheetahs Summer 1 Week 5

Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...

In English, we have looked at the story 'If I built a school'. The character in the book is called Jack and he adds interesting and imaginitive items to his school. In our writing we have been using time words at the start of our sentence, we have been using describing words and also extending our sentences by using the word 'and' to join our sentences together. We have written detailed sentences about adding zoo animals, having an awesome robot chef taking and delivering food orders and wrote about pop-up books that were magical so they came to life! We have been learning how to use exclamation marks in our sentences and have used these in our sentences. Well done to Lillie for her lovely robo chef idea of where you can even order candy floss!

In PSHE, we have been learning about which foods are healthy and unhealthy but have also discussed that everything is okay to eat in moderation. We created our own dinner plate of delicious foods from each food group.

Well done to our 'Star of the Week' which is Harley. Harley has been working really hard in all of his subjects and is showing a great attitude towards learning, he has been contributing well to class discussions as well, well done!

Our star writer this week is Henry, who has been working hard in his writing and has come up with some great ideas in his work.
