Summer 1 Week 3

Maths
In Maths lessons this week, Bees Class have been looking at word problems. We have used the method ‘RUSCAC’ to help us to read, understand, calculate, solve, answer and check our problems. This week, we have also been practicing our Times Table check on the website.  

English
In English this week, Bees Class have been working hard on writing up their non-chronological reports, using all the writing features. On Friday, we will be publishing these.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic we have finished our learning about Ancient Sumer and started learning about Ancient Egypt. We looked at a range of wall coverings and tomb paintings from Ancient Egyptian times and discussed what the images told us about houses, religion, jobs and leisure in Ancient Egypt.
