Maths
This week, the children have been working on word problems using the 4 operations – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We have been working hard on our times tables again this week.
English
During this week, the children continued to work on their non-chronological report. They have drafted and published their reports about the Ancient Sumerian civilisation.
Other Areas
This week we had our class assembly; we did a presentation to our grown-ups about all our learning last half term. The children really enjoyed talking about mountains and rivers, showing their William Morris inspired artwork and their animal sketches.
In RE we continue to learn about the Jewish faith. This week have looked at what a Bat and Bar Mitzvah are and what it means to a Jewish child.
