Summer 1, Week 4

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

In Maths, we revisited finding half of shapes and amounts. We identified different shapes that were split in half, remembering that they had to be in two equal parts. Then, we solved problems to find half of different numbers. Daisy and Nycolle did an excellent job using their sharing circles!

In Topic, we have continued learning about the Victorian times, finding out about what Victorian schools were like. We learnt that they sat in rows, they wrote on slate boards or with ink, and the boys and girls had to sit separately. We were shocked to find out about the punishments used, such as the cane and the dunce cap!
