Summer 1 Week 4

This week we have been very busy completing our maths assessment booklets. We have tried really hard to apply all of the skills we have learnt so far this year. Well done Sharks, we are very proud of you. 

In English, we started our new book called ‘Paddington at the palace’. On Tuesday afternoon, we had a visit from Paddington Bear! He left his sticky marmalade sandwich in our classroom! We read his story and created a story map to show the sequence of events.  

In topic this week, we have continued to learn about important Monarchs from the past. We are now working on our innovate challenge which is to design and make our very own board game. We have chosen facts to include, written out playing cards and picked what happens to the player when they fall on certain areas. We are looking forward to playing our games with our friends once they are finished.
