Maths

In Maths this week, the year 6 children have been working super hard in preparation for their SATs. The children have been using past papers to revise key test questions. 

English

In English this week, the children have been learning about the grammatical features needed in an explanation text. At the beginning of the week, the children looked at how to use brackets to add extra information into their sentences. The children then learnt how to identify and use active and passive voice.  

Star of the week – Holly (Holly always shows a fantastic attitude towards her learning).

Star writer- Mia-Zoe (Mia has worked so hard on joining her handwriting).
