Maths

This week, the children have been working with fractions. We have looked at equivalent fractions, how to use our times tables to solve fractions of amounts as well as put them into real life problems.

English

During this week, the children started looking at an adventure narrative. They found out that they would be writing a narrative based around Ancient Egypt for the author Emma Carroll. The children looked at what features make a good story and created a description for their main character.

Other Areas

This week we have been learning about classroom objects in Spanish. Our favourite objects to say are una barra de pegamento and un sacapuntas.

We continue with Athletics for PE and this week we concentrated on throwing activities such as javelin and shot putt.
