Maths

This week, the children have been working hard practising their times tables ready for the MTC check. We have also looked at how to solve a reasoning problem. The children learnt how to answer explain, convince me and prove it style questions.

English

During this week, the children have started to look at biographies. They are going to write a biography about Tutankhamun to inform the visitors at the Tutankhamun Exhibition.

Other Areas

This week, in Topic the children have started their first mini project Electricity. This Science based topic has allowed the children to make a circuit and investigate conductive and non-conductive materials.

In Spanish, we have started the topic food and drink. The children learnt vocabulary they would need if they visited a cafeteria.
