Summer 2 Week 6

Our Year 3 children have been busy over the last two weeks demonstrating the signs and skills that they have learnt this year.  They have recently been assessed for both their receptive (understanding of BSL) and also their productive skills. They are starting to learn BSL word order and know to put the question sign at the end of phrases.  For example, they can translate simple questions from English into BSL:  What is the weather in Summer?   Summer weather what?
