Maths

This week, the children have been learning about shape. We have been investigating different types of triangles and their properties as well as finding lines of symmetry in a variety of 2D shapes. We

English

This week, we have finished off our persuasive letter draft. The children have worked really hard with publishing their letters ready to send them to the Derby Museum.

Other Areas

This week, we continued our Islamic Art mini project. The children have used a star motif to create a pattern, they have explored using a range of different materials to add depth and texture to their work.

We had a wonderful morning on Wednesday taking part in Sports Day. The children enjoyed competing in the different races and we had a few winners in Woodpeckers. Well done!!
