T-Rex Summer 1, Week 6

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

In Maths this week, we revisited our position and direction unit. We made turns with different objects, following the instructions carefully. Then, we had to look at images of turns and described what turns had been made. Pola and Cole did a great job using the language of ‘quarter turn’, ‘half turn’, three-quarter turn’ and ‘full turn’.

In Computing, we had our final programming lesson. We returned to the space scenes we created last week and used the code blocks to make the aliens and astronauts move, make sounds, and disappear. Aden did an excellent job adding different sound effects! Have a look at the images below to see some of the codes we created.
